The Queens can be grouped in 2 groups. First are the crosses from Schlumbergera orssichiana x S. truncata or hybrids from truncata ( x reginae prefix) and second Schlumbergera orssichiana x S. russelliana or hybrids. (x eprica prefix) For this it doesn't matter if orssichiana or the other plant is the mother or the father. 

So 2 collective epithions are known today: 

x reginae 

x eprica 

Hybrids: 

First hybrids were started in 1978 and appeared in the UK. There are now about 100 hybrids named and known. They are much wanted, and less offered. Only a few people have crossed them in the past. They are all considered a little difficult to grow, compared with regular Schlumbs, except for the two K?lli hybrids Just Peachy and Coral Cascade. They are sometimes easier then the regular ones.
